So how do we calculate charges? We charge by the square foot. In order to properly assess your cleaning costs we’ll send a technician to your home to do a free no-obligation estimate. When our technician arrives to your Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA home he will do an initial walk-through with you and calculate your room sizes and total square footage. He’ll also take into consideration the carpet age and condition, the amount of soiling and whether you have any areas of special concern like pet stains, paint spots, wine or Kool-aid. Carpets that are regularly maintained (cleaned every 6 to 12 months) are generally going to cost less per square foot, especially when a carpet protector is applied after cleanings.

If you would like to have a technician come out for an estimate call our office. We can usually accommodate a same day carpet cleaning if this is something you are considering. But if for any reason you don’t want him to, there is no need to feel obligated.

Systems and Process

The process we use is hot-water extraction, which is what is recommended by carpet manufacturers. Our system provides maximum soil removal and maximum spot removal without saturating your carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. We also invest in the best possible equipment. A lot of carpet cleaners have lawn mower motors but our carpet cleaning machine is equipped with a four-cylinder engine.

When we come to your home we begin with a commercial pre-vacuum, we also do a lot of pre-spotting and post-spotting and we move furniture. We move things like sofas, tables and chairs. Usually the bigger pieces like beds, dressers and entertainment centers we will leave in place and work around.
